Diamond

Queen Diamond was one of the first IceWing Animus Dragons, along with her son Prince Arctic.

Biography

Pre-Series

About two thousand years in the past, Queen Diamond had a son, Prince Arctic, and they were both one of the first Animus dragons. It was eventually time for Prince Arctic to give an enchanted object to his tribe, but he fell in love with Foeslayer, a NightWing, and Arctic ran off with her.

Diamond was furious and refused to accept that Prince Arctic just ran off so lied and told the tribe that the NightWing Foeslayer, coveting the power of the Animus dragons, had kidnapped and raped Arctic so that she could have an Animus dragonet. Because Arctic left, there were no more Animus IceWings, causing all IceWings to detest NightWings for "stealing their last Animus."

All the IceWings thought that Foeslayer got away but Diamond managed to catch her. In her fury, Diamond used her powers the second time to get revenge on Foeslayer. Diamond locked Foeslayer up in shackles and froze her under a layer of ice. However, if the ice ever got broken, Foeslayer would be free until she got killed again.
