Claws of the Clouds Mountains
The Claws of the Clouds Mountains are a mountain range near the east coast of Pyrrhia and part of the Sky Kingdom. It is mentioned in The Dragonet Prophecy, the prologue of The Lost Heir, and The Dark Secret.
This mountain range was where Starflight thought the dragonets' cave was, and his theory was eventually confirmed by Webs.
Under The Mountain
The Claws of the Clouds Mountain was home to the Dragonets of Destiny's cave, the place that locked them away from the rest of the world. It was hidden under a mountain of the Sky Kingdom and was where Queen Scarlet captured the dragonets. The cave was probably destroyed when the SkyWing guards invaded the mountain.
The Dragonets of Destiny's Cave
There were nothing but rocks that had no difference in texture; if it weren't for Glory's iridescence the dragonets would have never known how many colours existed beyond the boulders.
Whenever Kestrel fired Clay during battle training he would climb on top of a stalagmite for momentary shelter from the intense flames. Clay used to think, "Why couldn't there just be a little mud down here?"
There was a small, freezing-cold river that trickled through the cave and into the outside world. Clay and Tsunami would swim up the river to the guardian's cave to spy on them, and Clay eventually swam downstream to escape.
Scrolls were the only source of reading material, while the dragonets studied the map of Pyrrhia, occasionally trying to locate the cave.
