Biography
When Peril, Scarlet, and Soar visited the Wingery to capture Cliff, he and the other dragonets were discussing how Scarlet's disfigured face looked, and it was mentioned that her face supposedly looked even more gross than when Cardinal drooled in his sleep. Cardinal then promptly told the others to shut up.

- A cardinal is defined as both a small red songbird and a medium red color.
- Cardinal is one of the known characters to have a reused name, the others being Eagle (here and here), Pearl (here and here), Lagoon (here and here), Jewel (here and here), Ostrich (here and here), Jerboa (here and here), Crane (here and here), and Eclipse (here and here).
