Burning of Bloodworm Hive

The Burning of Bloodworm Hive is a recent event involving an attack on Bloodworm Hive by the LeafWings (PoisonWings). The burning was the first big attack on Queen Wasp by the LeafWings since the Tree Wars. It is unknown how many dragons were killed in the burning, but likely a fair amount, considering it was mentioned to be on the brink of collapse. Blue, Cricket, Swordtail, and Sundew tried to stop it, but they were unsuccessful. 

Bryony, Pokeweed, and Hemlock burned down the hive with a strand of flamesilk, that Belladonna left for them in the Prologue of The Poison Jungle. The LeafWings had brought dittany and other flammable plants from the jungle to help burn down the hive. Grayling, a member of the Chrysalis, told the SilkWings to stay near an exit with their dragonets. Other members of The Chrysalis were sent to get eggs and cocoons of dragonets in their Metamorphosis. 

Blue, Cricket, Sundew, Swordtail, and Bumblebee watched the hive burn from afar. It is mentioned several times in The Poison Jungle, for example, when Sundew told Willow and then Queen Sequoia that her parents had went ahead with the plan and burned down the hive.

Trivia

• Its attack is similar to the attack on the Summer Palace, as both were responsible of burning down the residence of both royals and common dragons of a tribe.
