Bumblebee
Template:SpoilerTHQ Template:Charbox Bumblebee is a newborn female HiveWing that appears in The Hive Queen.
Biography
She is first encountered in an egg when Cricket sneaks into the HiveWing nest in order to confirm a suspicion that she has concerning the Queen Wasp's mind control and unhatched HiveWings. Cricket finds herself taking the egg, half because she feels bad for the egg as it is marked as ¨orphan¨, and half because she didn´t want the poor dragonet inside to be injected with Queen Wasp´s toxins. Cricket takes the egg with her to one of Sundew´s hideouts, where it hatches the next morning, to Cricket and Blue´s suprise. Blue names the dragonet Bumblebee after her appearance of a bumblebee. Cricket takes Bumblebee with her a while later to burn down Queen Wasp´s greenhouse.
Trivia
- Bumblebee is the fourth dragon to hatch in-book with the other three being: Darkstalker, Princess Auklet and Moonwatcher.
- The bumblebee (bombus) is a species of bee that's native to North America.
