Bandit

Bandit is a scavenger owned by Winter, and appears briefly throughout Moon Rising. He seems to be completely terrified of all dragons, except perhaps Moonwatcher, as she saved him from being eaten by all the other dragons when he escaped from Winter. He was also hungry enough to allow Kinkajou to feed him. Bandit also appears to be lonely. Moonwatcher can't read what he is thinking since he isn't a dragon, but she can understand his feelings. Winter set Bandit free at the end of Moon Rising to keep him from freezing to death in the Ice Kingdom. Winter told him, "Trust me, it's much better than the Ice Kingdom".
