The Lavender Dragonet

The lavender dragonet appeared in the prologue of The Lost Continent. Biography The Lost Continent Prophecy The Lost Continent When Clearsight arrives on Pantala, she sees her clinging to a branch. She realizes that she would have been killed in the hurricane if Clearsight hadn't arrived. Clearsight then notes that now she would wake up the next morning, complaining that she wanted blackberries for breakfast and chasing butterflies in the sunlight.

HiveWing Citizen
The HiveWing citizen is an adult female HiveWing appearing in The Hive Queen. Biography The Lost Continent Prophecy The Hive Queen The HiveWing citizen made her first appearance in Jewel Hive. She was talking to Cricket about Raindrop Scales and Pinacate while Cricket, Blue, Swordtail, and Sundew were headed to the Salvation Statue.

Katydid's Father

Katydid's father is an adult male HiveWing appearing in The Hive Queen. He raised both Katydid and Cricket and is Cadelle's ex-husband. Biography The Lost Continent Prophecy The Hive Queen Katydid's father made his first appearance in a flashback when he came home early to eat dinner with Cadelle. It was mentioned that the two of them were hissing and arguing. Katydid's father also made an appearance in another flashback. He was confused, bowing to Scarab when she came to visit Katydid and Cricket, and trying to offer her some tea. When Lady Scarab asked about Cricket's school, Terrarium Academy, he told Lady Scarab that he chose it and that it was a very "down-to-earth place." Lady Scarab commented on his pun, but he just blinked in confusion. It seems from the flashbacks that he is very dimwitted.

Lady Scarab's Great-Great-Grandmother

Lady Scarab's great-great-grandmother was a former HiveWing queen who is mentioned in The Hive Queen. She is the great-great-grandmother of Scarab. Biography The Lost Continent Prophecy The Hive Queen Lady Scarab briefly mentions her while talking to Cricket about if the HiveWings are descendants of Clearsight. Lady Scarab said that when her great-great-grandmother was queen, she ordered the end of mingling bloodlines between HiveWings and SilkWings. According to her, she was a "nightmare" and "horror show," and she sarcastically described her as "charming."

Silverspot's Mistress

Silverspot's mistress is a female HiveWing. She is bad-tempered and insecure about her Hive hierarchy status and takes it out by inflicting cruelties on Silverspot, one of her workers. Biography The Lost Continent Prophecy The Lost Continent When Silverspot promises Luna to try to come to the Cocoon, Luna consoles her, knowing that Silverspot's mistress would enjoy keeping Silverspot from attending her only dragonet's Metamorphosis. Later, when Io and Blue are trying to escape through the upper Hive levels, Blue notes that Silverspot's mistress has an impressive mansion on a higher level of Cicada Hive.

HiveWings Hunting for LeafWings

The HiveWings hunting for LeafWings were mentioned in The Poison Jungle to have been sent to search the Poison Jungle for LeafWings, the LeafWings grew plants to kill all but one, who returned home to report. Biography Pre-Series The HiveWings tried to get into the Poison Jungle and search for LeafWings under Queen Wasp's mind control. They likely weren't mind-controlled at the time since one of them had to report back to Queen Wasp. The other group members died to the plants while one lived to tell the dangers of the jungle. The Lost Continent Prophecy The Poison Jungle Sundew mentions the HiveWings, and she tells the story of what happened to them.

Uncontrollable HiveWing

The uncontrollable HiveWing appeared in Cricket's memory at the beginning of The Hive Queen resisting the Hive Mind. Appearance He is said by Cricket to have red and black striped wings and to look quite old, somewhere from sixty to a hundred by Cricket's guess. He was said to be quite big, and his scales were said to be dull. He has dark eyes. Biography The Lost Continent Prophecy The Hive Queen Appearing in Cricket's memory, he was resisting Queen Wasp's Hive Mind. All of the HiveWings, excluding Cricket and him, grabbed him under Queen Wasp's orders and took him to Wasp Hive. It is unknown what happened to him afterward.

Jewel's Children
Jewel's Children are Lady Jewel's children. They are mentioned in The Hive Queen. Biography The Lost Continent Prophecy The Hive Queen Scarab mentions Lady Jewel's children as her grandchildren.

The HiveWing soldiers appeared in The Lost Continent. Biography The Lost Continent Prophecy The Lost Continent Five HiveWing soldiers are seen escorting Blue to the Flamesilk cavern.

Butterfly's Mother

Butterfly's mother is an adult female human appearing in Dragonslayer. She is the mother of Butterfly. She is a pompous teacher who values herself and looks down upon others. She believes that Rowan's "level of scholarship" is too low to be helping Leaf study. Rowan describes her as an "old toad." Biography Legends Dragonslayer Butterfly's mother first appeared in Leaf's school as a teacher. She notes that Rowan carrying a large book is unusual for her, but Leaf and Rowan eventually convince her that Rowan is trying to help Leaf study. She tells Leaf to remember her if he ever became a dragonmancer.

Leaf's Father

Leaf's father is an adult male human appearing in Dragonslayer. He is the father of Leaf, Rowan, Bluebell, Camellia, and Wren. Appearance He has thin hair.[citation needed] Biography Legends Dragonslayer He is first seen, along with his wife, taking Wren up the mountain to be sacrificed. It is stated that he didn't look back once at Wren as he left with the dragonmancers. Leaf remembers him warning Leaf of the dangers of dragons. He also reminds Leaf to be grateful and listen to the dragonmancers and hopes that Leaf will become one someday. He is mentioned to be 'over the moons with joy' when Leaf receives his dragonmancer invitation. He is last seen calling to Wren, Leaf, and Rowan as they leave Talisman.

Leaf's Mother

Leaf's mother is an adult female human appearing in Dragonslayer. She is the mother of Leaf, Rowan, Bluebell, Camellia, and Wren. Biography Legends Dragonslayer She was first seen, along with her husband, taking Wren up the mountain to be sacrificed. She was the one who first fed Leaf the lie about Wren being eaten by dragons, stating that it was Wren's own fault. She tried to prevent Rowan from telling Leaf about the dragonslayer and warned her not to put ideas in her brother's head. When Leaf was made a dragonmancer's apprentice, she was described to be 'over the moons.' Rowan later mentioned that she was the one who found the books Wren stole from the dragonmancers in Rowan's loft while recounting what had actually happened to Wren. She was close behind her husband when Wren and Leaf returned to Talisman, calling out to Leaf and Rowan after Wren flew away on Sky.

Wren's Sister
Wren's sister is a female human mentioned in Dragonslayer. She is the sister of Wren, Rowan, Bluebell, Camellia and Leaf. Biography Legends Dragonslayer Leaf mentioned her indirectly when he states that he had four older sisters. She is indirectly mentioned when it is noted that Rowan never paid much attention to her five younger siblings.

Violet's Dads

Violet's dads are two adult male humans who appeared in Dragonslayer. They raised Violet. Biography Legends Dragonslayer Violet's dads work on "laws and orders" with Heath, and they have been to the old village. They brought Violet back a half-burned doll and told her that maybe she could fix it and make it pretty. They later arrived at the Wingwatcher welcome ceremony, looking vaguely confused why Violet was becoming a Wingwatcher at all. Ivy mentioned them to Stone when she was guessing why the dragons had not eaten Rose yet, saying that they had a parakeet for a while.

Daffodil's Grandmother

Daffodil's grandmother is the oldest human in Valor. Biography Legends Dragonslayer According to Daffodil, when she went to see her grandmother, she wanted to know where Daffodil's yellow ribbons were and that her new Wingwatcher uniform did nothing for her complexion. She also told Daffodil to sit still, "like, eight hundred thousand times." She was alive in the dragon attacks and told Daffodil that Heath had come riding home at first, and all the scavengers were cheering, but then everything was suddenly on fire. Apparently, her Aunt Petal had saved her by getting her into an escape tunnel. She also said that Petal was the very best of her children, and no one else would ever measure up.

Wingwatcher Recruit
The Wingwatcher recruit is a young human who appeared in Dragonslayer. They are a member of the Wingwatchers. Biography Legends Dragonslayer The Wingwatcher recruit appeared at the Wingwatcher welcome ceremony alongside the other five recruits.

SkyWing-NightWing Dragonet
The SkyWing-NightWing hybrid dragonet is seen in Sanctuary while Snowfall is exploring around. Appearance The dragonet is orange and has a scattering of black scales across its nose. Biography The Lost Continent Prophecy The Dangerous Gift The hybrid dragonet first made their appearance in Sanctuary while Snowfall was looking around. They are shown listening to some older dragons talking.

Multiple SkyWing-SandWing Dragonets

The SandWing-SkyWing hybrid dragonets are seen in Sanctuary while Snowfall is exploring around. Appearance Some have bright red scales, SandWing tailbarbs, SandWing-colored scales, and each hybrid features look very different. Biography The Lost Continent Prophecy The Dangerous Gift The hybrid dragonets first made their appearance in Sanctuary while Snowfall was looking around. They are shown running around and playing together.

SeaWing-MudWing Dragonet

The SeaWing-MudWing hybrid dragonet is first seen when in Sanctuary while Snowfall is exploring around. Appearance The dragonet has mahogany brown scales speckled with phosphorescent bluish scales along its spines and wings, and webbed talons. Biography The Lost Continent Prophecy The Dangerous Gift The hybrid dragonet first made their appearance in Sanctuary while Snowfall was looking around. They are shown playing and jumping around enthusiastically.

IceWing Prisoners

The IceWing prisoners were captured during a battle between Burn and Blaze's army one month before the events of The Dragonet Prophecy. One of them was chained next to Clay. They were all killed by Morrowseer's NightWings. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Dragonet Prophecy The IceWing prisoners appeared when Queen Scarlet tried to put them against Tsunami and Starflight, but they never got to battle them. They were still chained when Morrowseer and his NightWings appeared and demanded to take Starflight. Queen Scarlet said she wouldn't let him go until she sees the IceWings fight Starflight, and Morrowseer commands his NightWings to kill them. He then says that he took care of her IceWing problem then promptly takes Starflight away. The Lost Jade Mountain Prophecy Winter Turning The IceWing prisoners were mentioned by Winter when he mentioned the NightWings that killed the IceWing prisoners while they were still chained and bound on their spires.

IceWing Soldiers (TDP)

The IceWing soldiers fought in a battle by the river two days before the dragonets of destiny arrive in the Mud Kingdom. They fought with Icicle, who killed Crane in the battle. A group of dead IceWings soldiers in The Dragonet Prophecy (graphic novel) Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Dragonet Prophecy Their bodies were shown in the river battle wreckage from two days ago, along with multiple MudWing corpses. They were burning and had spears lodged in them. One was on a rock near a waterfall. The Jade Mountain Prophecy Moon Rising They appeared in Sora's memory of the battle by the river, fighting the MudWings.

IceWing Soldiers (TDS)

Appearing in the prologue, the IceWing soldiers attacked the MudWings while the SandWing generals commanded the MudWings. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Dark Secret Appearing in the prologue while Clay's sibling group was fighting, they sprung a surprise attack. They won the battle as the SandWing generals called for a retreat. To escape, the sib group went through the woods, and Pheasant wondered what IceWings wanted with a scavenger den.

IceWing Messenger
The IceWing messenger appeared in the epilogue of Talons of Power. Biography The Jade Mountain Prophecy Talons of Power The IceWing messenger arrived to tell Hailstorm of Queen Glacier's death. He mentioned that Hailstorm's parents had gotten worse.

IceWing Scout

The IceWing scout is a male IceWing appeared in The Dangerous Gift. Biography The Lost Continent Prophecy The Dangerous Gift The IceWing scout reported to Snowfall that hundreds of unknown dragons were approaching the Ice Kingdom from the west. When she theorized that they were an invading group of RainWings and SeaWings due to their scale colors, he responded by stating that he didn't think those tribes would attack the IceWings, angering the young queen. Snowfall then harshly dismissed him to gather more information.

IceWing dragonets
The IceWing dragonets appeared in Winter Turning. Biography The Jade Mountain Prophecy Winter Turning The IceWing dragonets turned and stared at Winter when he was in his place in line.

Lynx's father

Lynx's father is an adult male IceWing mentioned in The Dangerous Gift. He was in the fifth circle, as the rankings were destroyed by Snowfall. Biography The Lost Continent Prophecy The Dangerous Gift Lynx's father is briefly mentioned when Lynx and Snowfall were going to the edge of the Ice Kingdom to scout for the mysterious dragons that were getting closer to the Kingdom. Lynx seemed worried for him.

Winter's uncle

Winter's uncle is an adult male IceWing Prince who debuted in Winter Turning when he participated in a Polar Bear hunt with Winter, Hailstorm, Icicle, Narwhal and Tundra. Biography The Jade Mountain Prophecy Winter Turning Winter's uncle joined Hailstorm, Icicle, and Winter on a polar bear hunt. He's seen looking disapprovingly at Winter when he lets a polar bear get away. It's unknown if he survived the IceWing Plague.

Belladonna's Mother

Belladonna's mother or Sundew's grandmother, was a female LeafWing mentioned in The Poison Jungle. She is the mother of Belladonna and the grandmother of Sundew. She was capable of leafspeak and described to be very stubborn and vengeful. She was initially very loyal to Queen Sequoia and probably quite confident since she left the existing LeafWing tribe to start the PoisonWings. Biography Pre-Series She was Sequoia's best general until the end of the Tree Wars when the queen ordered her tribe to retreat. Belladonna's mother refused to back down, creating a separate coalition of LeafWings known as the PoisonWings.

Cobra Lily's Sister

Cobra Lily's sister is a female LeafWing mentioned by Sundew in the The Poison Jungle. Biography The Lost Continent Prophecy The Poison Jungle When Sundew returns to the PoisonWing camp she sees Cobra Lily guarding the entrance, Sundew thinks about how Cobra Lily gets angry in a deep, cold, icy way and waits to exact her revenge at just the right moment and how Cobra Lily had slipped a dangerous manchineel fruit into a dragon's lunch as payback for insulting her sister two years earlier.

Willow's Father

Willow's father is an adult male LeafWing who briefly appeared in The Poison Jungle. He is the father of Willow. Appearance He was described as a pale green dragon with kind eyes and a lot of nervous energy. Biography The Lost Continent Prophecy The Poison Jungle Willow mentioned that she had gotten too close to the manchineel grove once when on a hunt, and he had dragged her back to the village and lectured Willow for a week about it. Sundew only met Willow's father for a moment as Sequoia swept him into her entourage when he paused to wish Willow good luck, which was when Willow introduced him to Sundew for the first time.

Atala's Partner
Atala's partner is an unnamed LeafWing of unknown gender who briefly appeared in The Dangerous Gift. They are the partner of Atala. Biography The Lost Continent Prophecy The Dangerous Gift They are briefly seen in one of Snowfall's visions through The Ring of Vision. They are flying side by side with Atala, through a storm. They are currently heading towards Pyrrhia with Atala.

The MudWing Bigwings

The MudWing bigwings is a female MudWing who appeared when Glory and Clay were entering the Mud Kingdom in The Dragonet Prophecy. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Dragonet Prophecy When Clay and Glory enter the Mud Kingdom, they talk to the bigwings of a sib group, and she tells the group to keep practicing while she talks to Glory and Clay. She is shocked to hear an egg was stolen from the MudWings, and after they reworded the question, pointed them to Cattail's sleephouse.

MudWing Soldiers

The MudWing soldiers appeared in the wreckage of the battle the dragonets of destiny walked around before entering the Mud Kingdom in The Dragonet Prophecy. They all died in what is mentioned as the battle by the river. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Dragonet Prophecy The MudWing soldiers' bodies appeared when the dragonets of destiny walked towards the Mud Kingdom, wondering who won. The Dragonets ask how anyone can see this and think they won. The MudWing soldiers in The Dragonet Prophecy (graphic novel) It was a bloody battle, and the flames were still crackling despite being two days after. They died in a battle against Blaze's forces, where IceWings attacked. At least two were stabbed with spears, one in the neck and one in the chest. Multiple were still burning, and at least one had their wings ripped off or bent.

Male MudWing Citizen
The male MudWing citizen lives in the Mud Kingdom. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Dragonet Prophecy The male MudWing citizen, along with another unnamed MudWing, was asked by a SandWing scout about the dragonets of destiny. When he said he hadn't seen them, the SandWing left.

The MudWing citizen is a MudWing living in the Mud Kingdom. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Dragonet Prophecy The MudWing citizen, along with another unnamed male MudWing, was asked by a SandWing scout about the dragonets of destiny. When the other MudWing said he hadn't seen them, the SandWing left.

Clay's Father

Clay's father is the former mate of Cattail and Clay's father Biography Pre-Series Little is known about Clay's father. Not even Cattail knew who he was. Clay's father met Cattail during a breeding night which resulted in Clay, Sora, Crane, Umber, Pheasant, and Reed's conception. Clay's parents returned to their own sleep-houses soon afterwards and never saw or heard from each other again. Cattail didn't think her former partner would want to know their children or cared how she treated them. The Dragonet Prophecy The Dragonet Prophecy As Clay and Glory depart from Cattail, Glory states that Cattail might've been wrong about Clay's father not wanting to know him.

Cattail and Asha's Bigwings

Cattail and Asha's bigwings is a MudWing of unknown gender and the bigwing of their troop. They were mentioned by Cattail when she stated that they'll be furious to hear of Asha's fate. Personality Little is known about Asha and Cattail's bigwings. However it appears that like Cattail, they were also selfish and had a poor relationship with Asha as Cattail stated that the bigwings of their troop would be furious to learn that their sister turned her back on their troop and was subsequently killed in action. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Dragonet Prophecy When Clay and Glory informed Cattail of Asha's death, Cattail is outraged as she told Asha to never leave their troop before going on to state their bigwing will be furious when they are informed about Asha's fate.

Clearsight's Father

Clearsight's father was an adult male NightWing appearing in Darkstalker. He was the father of Clearsight and the partner of Swiftwings. He was very kind and cared for his family, supporting Clearsight despite his concerns about her obsession with the future. Biography Legends Darkstalker He visited Clearsight in the library, stating that she was too focused on her visions of the future and not enough on her education. They argued about this, and Clearsight used her precognition to see what bad things could happen if she attended school and everything went awry. Eventually, her father agreed, but only after convincing her that she had to go to school after turning three. She agreed, thinking that it was the best she could do.

Starflight's Daughter

Starflight's daughter is a female dragonet appearing in a vision of a possible future near the end of Moon Rising. She is described as small and black. Biography The Jade Mountain Prophecy Moon Rising Starflight was seen in Moon's vision in the library of Jade Mountain Academy behind the desk when a small black dragonet raced into the cave. She leaped onto the desk, kissed Starflight's temple, took a scroll, and flew down another tunnel, calling "Thank you, Father!". Starflight scolded her for flying in the tunnels but was smiling, showing that he wasn't too serious in his scolding.

Mindreader's Father

Mindreader's father is a male NightWing appearing in Talons of Power. Biography The Jade Mountain Prophecy Talons of Power Darkstalker asked Mindreader's father what kind of power he would like. He would like to be an animus, as well as wanting to heal instantly from any wound. Due to his slight mistrust, Darkstalker gives him a temporary spell. Mindreader's father instantly heals, looking younger and healthier. This causes surrounding NightWings to also ask for powers.

Icicle's Victim
Icicle's victim was a NightWing that appeared in Winter Turning while the Jade Winglet (not including Turtle) was chasing Icicle. Biography The Jade Mountain Prophecy Winter Turning The unnamed NightWing was found dead by a tree while they searched for Icicle. Icicle killed them while she ran to the NightWing Volcano.

Fierceteeth's Father
Fierceteeth's father is a male NightWing mentioned in The Dark Secret. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Dark Secret Fierceteeth mentioned on the NightWing island that she had a different father than Starflight.

The NightWing Librarian
The NightWing librarian was a male NightWing appearing in Darkstalker. Biography Legends Darkstalker The NightWing Librarian had given Clearsight a study room of her own. However, Clearsight suspected that the NightWing Librarian had only done this because he thought Clearsight was insane and wanted the option to lock her in if necessary.

NightWing Followers
The NightWing followers are the NightWings who came to save Starflight at the arena in Queen Scarlet's Palace. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Dragonet Prophecy When the dragonets were captured, Morrowseer and ten to twelve NightWings flew down and killed the IceWing prisoners after taking Starflight.

Mightyclaws's Sister
Mightyclaws's sister is a female NightWing mentioned in The Dark Secret. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Dark Secret Mightyclaws mentions his older sister to Starflight when introducing Fierceteeth. Winglets Prisoners Fierceteeth mentions Mightyclaws is the only dragon she knew who had a sibling.

Tribe Blacksmith
The tribe blacksmith is a NightWing of unknown gender who was mentioned in Darkness of Dragons by Moon in a vision. Biography The Jade Mountain Prophecy Darkness of Dragons Moon has a vision of Peacemaker, who is mentioned to marry the tribe blacksmith and have two dragonets with them, who's with them when he dies quietly in his sleep.

RainWing Dragonet
The RainWing dragonet appeared in The Hidden Kingdom. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Hidden Kingdom He was with a RainWing being taken to be punished for putting berries inside the other RainWings nostrils during their sleep.

RainWing Citizen
The RainWing citizen appeared in The Hidden Kingdom and was asked about Orchid. Like most RainWings, they were oblivious to the fact someone might kidnap a RainWing. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Hidden Kingdom They were asked about Orchid and suggested she might be taking a really long nap somewhere, oblivious to the fact she was captured and hasn't appeared in days.

Tsunami's Copycat

Tsunami's copycat is a male RainWing that appeared in The Hidden Kingdom. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Hidden Kingdom He was with Magnificent and Handsome in the queen's hut when Glory entered to ask for Magnificent's help, and she noticed that he was trying to copy Tsunami's colors, even putting small white spots in his neck to match with her pearl necklaces. When Glory was furious about Magnificent when she denied to help her free the RainWing prisoners, he replied that he never "had seen someone in that shade of red."

Jerboa's RainWing Friend
Jerboa's friend is a RainWing of an unknown gender that appeared in The Dangerous Gift. Biography The Lost Continent Prophecy The Dangerous Gift This RainWing is described by Jerboa to have been 'building Sandcastles with her, then the next day they were gone, and so were Jerboa's memories about them.'

Two SandWing Guards

The two SandWing guards appeared with Burn chasing Hvitur at the start of The Dragonet Prophecy, at least one was said to be male. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Dragonet Prophecy Alongside Burn, two SandWings attacked and chained Hvitur and his snout with burning chains under Burn's orders. While one is chaining Hvitur, the other brings Burn the SkyWing egg he was carrying. They carefully move the chain for Hvitur's snout, so Burn can question him. They then hold him down while Burn throws the SkyWing egg off the cliff.

Six-Claws' two sisters
Six-Claws' two sisters are the two sisters of Six-Claws. Biography Winglets Deserter Six-Claws' sisters are mentioned at the beginning, where it is said that Ostrich and Quicksand's lives were devoted to Queen Oasis first and their dragonets second. The two sisters taught their brother not to tell them who he had a crush on if he didn't want everyone to know about it.

Oasis' two sisters
Oasis' two sisters are the two sisters of Queen Oasis. Biography Winglets Deserter One of Queen Oasis's sisters was mentioned by Ostrich, who said that she would be the one to be killed by Queen Oasis after the new SandWing princess, Blaze, had hatched. The day after that, she was mentioned to have "vanished into thin air." According to Six-Claws, no-one ever mentioned her name again.

Male Patrolling SandWing

The male patrolling SandWing was a male SandWing soldier allied with Burn during the War of SandWing Succession. Appearance He was described as burly with missing teeth and a missing ear.[citation needed] Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Dragonet Prophecy The Patrolling SandWing asked two MudWings in the Mud Kingdom if they had seen the dragonets of destiny. When they responded that they hadn't, he left to continue searching.

SandWing General
The SandWing general was a SandWing soldier allied with Burn during the War of SandWing Succession. Appearance In the graphic novel, the SandWing general has brownish-yellow scales, pale brown wings, and a pale brown underbelly. SandWing Patrol Guard

Appearing at the end of Deserter, the SandWing patrol guard notices Six-Claws leaving with Kindle and Dune, and offers to take Dune to the Stronghold for more medical attention. She is mentioned to be female by Six-Claws. Biography Winglets Deserter She appears when Six-Claws and Kindle are taking Dune away and fleeing to the Scorpion Den. Six-Claws lies to her that they're taking him to Burn's Stronghold for more medical assistance, and she offers to take him. Six-Claws denies and, while he's flying away, thinks an apology to her and all the soldiers he's leaving behind.

The Outclaw Guard

The Outclaw guard appeared in The Brightest Night guarding the Scorpion Den. Their gender is unknown, as they were mistakingly referred to as female then male. Appearance They are muscular. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Brightest Night They were the guard to stop Fierceteeth, Preyhunter, and Strongwings at the Scorpion Den entrance. They told them that no one enters the Scorpion Den without a contribution to the Outclaws. When Preyhunter offers them a prophecy, the guard then tells Qibli to tell Thorn that there are "three NightWings offering their pathetic services." After a while, they are heard telling the NightWings that Thorn wants to see them and demands them to follow Qibli without any funny business."

Herring's Brother

Herring's brother is a male SeaWing soldier appearing in The Lost Heir. He was a soldier fighting in the War of SandWing Succession and is the brother of Herring. He has fish-green scales and gills in the graphic novel, with a few larger scales being a dark, kelp green color. He was also shown that all of his membranes (wings included) and his aquatic stripes are white. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Lost Heir He and another soldier visit Coral's council, and Tsunami can see that both are terribly wounded. She tries to encourage her mother, Queen Coral, to get them help. Queen Coral eventually agrees, and the dragons helping them fly bring both of them to the healers. Later, when Tsunami goes back to her friends and needs a key from the guards, Herring tells her that she had saved his brother. When she asks about the other guard, Herring tells her that it was "too late," meaning that they had died of their wounds.

Two SeaWing Guards

The two SeaWing guards appear in The Lost Heir and guard the dungeons where Webs, Riptide, the dragonets of destiny, and an unnamed SandWing war prisoner were kept, alongside other prisoners. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Lost Heir While the Summer Palace was under attack, Tsunami told them that defending the palace was more important than guarding the dungeons. Once they left, she freed Webs and Riptide.

Twenty-eight SeaWing Princes

The twenty-eight SeaWing princes are the sons of Coral and Gill and brothers to Orca, Tsunami, Anemone, Turtle, Fin, Cerulean, and Octopus. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Lost Heir They were mentioned by Anemone when she says she has lots of brothers, but she can't play with them. The Jade Mountain Prophecy Moon Rising Turtle mentions them when he is introduced and tells Tsunami that she has 32 brothers. Talons of Power Turtle suggests that Fin take their brothers with him on his mapping excursion, to which Fin says, "It'll be more like an invasion than a scouting trip."

The Eight Dead SeaWing Princesses

The eight dead SeaWing princesses were mentioned in The Lost Heir. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Lost Heir They were mentioned as the other victims of Orca's statue. On of the SeaWing Princess was a clutch-mate of Auklet's that was found dead in the Royal Hatchery during Queen Coral's unsuccessful attempt to catch the assasian. The Jade Mountain Prophecy Talons of Power Two of them were killed in the prologue by Orca's statue.

Webs's Wife

Webs's wife was mentioned by Queen Coral in The Lost Heir. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Lost Heir Queen Coral mentioned that she sent her into a battle, stating that she is dead. The death of Web's spouse was intentional on Queen Coral's part because she realized that the former assisted her husband in stealing Tsunami's egg. Web's wife served as one of Coral's chiefs before she was sent into battle as canon-fodder

Jerboa's SeaWing Friend
Jerboa's friend is a SeaWing of an unknown gender that appeared in The Dangerous Gift. Biography The Lost Continent Prophecy The Dangerous Gift' This SeaWing is described by Jerboa to have been 'Swimming in the ocean with her, then the next day they were gone, and so were Jerboa's memories about them.'

Tau's Stepbrother

Tau's stepbrother is a male SilkWing who was featured briefly in The Hive Queen. He is the stepbrother of Tau and a member of the Jewel Hive Chrysalis. Biography The Lost Continent Prophecy The Hive Queen As Cricket returned from the nest to report Wasp's actions to Sundew, she noticed a male SilkWing trying to patch the roof in the Glitterbazaar stall with Tau and Sundew. Tau mentioned that he was her stepbrother and was a member of the Chrysalis.

Tussock's Uncle

Tussock's uncle is a male SilkWing mentioned in The Lost Continent. He is the uncle of Tussock. Biography The Lost Continent Prophecy The Lost Continent In the first part of The Lost Continent, Blue has a brief argument with Luna on whether the LeafWings are extinct. Tussock's uncle supposedly saw a LeafWing a couple of years back, and Luna believes him to be hysterical, having just seen a green SilkWing.

Grayling's Brother
Grayling's brother was mentioned by Grayling in the prologue of The Poison Jungle when he said that the HiveWings sent had his brother away to Tsetse Hive.

Grayling's Father
Grayling's father was mentioned by Grayling in the prologue of The Poison Jungle, when he said that the HiveWings of Bloodworm Hive let his father die. It is unknown what he died from.

SilkWing Servant
The SilkWing servant was remembered by Cricket in The Hive Queen when talking about how venomous Cadelle's teeth are.

The Pale Pink SilkWing
The pale pink SilkWing was an adult male prisoner of Misbehaver's Way. Appearance The SilkWing has pale pink scales and long, rose-petal wings.[citation needed] Biography The Lost Continent Prophecy The Lost Continent Blue and Cricket spotted him during their trip to Misbehaver's Way. His talons were outstretched as though he had been pleading for mercy, and his snout was still wet with tears.

SilkWing Cook
The SilkWing cook is mentioned in The Hive Queen when Cricket has sudden pangs of regret for not being more grateful for SilkWing servants.

Aphid's Caretaker
Aphid's caretaker is a female SilkWing who briefly appears in The Lost Continent.

The SkyWing Dragonet

The unnamed SkyWing dragonet of destiny was an unhatched female egg, stolen by Hvitur in The Dragonet Prophecy, to be the SkyWing dragonet of the prophecy. Kestrel described the dragonet as being female. She may have been a royal since she was stolen from the SkyWing palace. After the destruction of her egg, she was replaced by Glory. Biography Pre-Series In the prologue of The Dragonet Prophecy, Hvitur was caught by Burn after stealing the SkyWing egg from Queen Scarlet's palace. Burn toyed with the egg while the chained Hvitur, kept from using his frostbreath, pleaded for its safety. She feigned consideration, then dramatically dropped the egg over a tall cliff before she gruesomely killed Hvitur. The prophecy could not have been fulfilled without five dragonets, so Webs, the SeaWing guardian, stole a RainWing egg to fulfill the prophecy. However, the guardians always viewed Glory as a replacement afterward and treated her terribly since she was not a SkyWing as they had wanted. Kestrel, the SkyWing guardian, later found the corpse of Hvitur and some fragments of the eggshell at the base of the cliff. Kestrel wouldn't have minded if they had this SkyWing, saying she should've stolen it herself, claiming, "They wouldn't have caught me a second time." The Dragonet Prophecy The Dragonet Prophecy The SkyWing dragonet was mentioned frequently as the dragonets talked about how Glory replaced them. Kestrel mentioned that a SkyWing would have been better than Glory many times before her death, and Glory frequently wondered whether a SkyWing would have been better. The Dark Secret Sunny wondered why everyone was so mean to Glory about not being the SkyWing dragonet if the prophecy was false.

The Runty SkyWing

The runty SkyWing is a dragonet that was briefly mentioned in the prologue of Escaping Peril. They are of unknown gender and hatched on the brightest night. Tui confirmed this dragonet would be important later on. Biography The Jade Mountain Prophecy Escaping Peril After Hvitur's failed attempt to steal the prophesied SkyWing egg, Scarlet ordered her guards to bring in all the eggs that were due to hatch on the brightest night, so that she could have Peril burn them with her firescales. When she said that one was missing ("there should be eight"), one of the guards reassured her that it wouldn't get far, and "it was a runty one anyways."

Eight SkyWing Guards

The eight SkyWing guards appeared alongside to take the dragonets of destiny and their guardians to the Sky Palace. When Webs escaped in the river, one asked if they should go after him, but Scarlet said that he would be long gone. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Dragonet Prophecy Appearing to take the dragonets of destiny, Kestrel, Dune, and Webs, the guards spread around the cave, each one taking a dragon, although since Dune was killed by Scarlet, two went after Kestrel instead. In The Dragonet Prophecy two of them are after Kestrel, and two are after Starflight, while they left Sunny alone grieving Dune.

Three SkyWing Guards

Three SkyWing guards attempt to assist Queen Scarlet after she is shot by Glory's venom, shouting for a medic and asking if anyone saw the culprit. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Dragonet Prophecy When Queen Scarlet was attacked by Glory's venom and screaming, the guards quickly start flying Queen Scarlet to a medic and calling for one, asking who did it and if the queen was dying. In The Dragonet Prophecy, one appears to be a light red, pinkish color, another is an orange and yellow color, and the third is dark red.

Kidney Breath

Kidney Breath is a male SkyWing living in the Sky Kingdom. "Kidney Breath" is not his real name, but a nickname that Ruby gave him. Appearance Ruby described him as squat and rust-colored. It has also been mentioned that he was one of the oldest dragons in the palace. According to Ruby, whenever he sees her, he makes an odd clicking noise with his teeth, comments on how peculiarly long her neck was and told her that the secret of long life was eating a goat kidney every day. Biography The Jade Mountain Prophecy Escaping Peril Kidney Breath appeared in the prologue as one of the dragons in the palace who saw Peril burn the SkyWing eggs.

The SkyWing Tsunami attacked

The SkyWing Tsunami attacked is a male dragon who made a brief appearance near the beginning of The Lost Heir. Appearance In the graphic novel, the SkyWing has orange scales and yellow eyes. Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Lost Heir The SkyWing first appeared flying over the dragonets' hiding places as part of a SkyWing patrol. He glanced at the place where Sunny was hiding, making Tsunami think he had seen her. When he opened his mouth, Tsunami thought he would alert the rest of the patrol, although the other dragonets later agreed that he had just been yawning. Tsunami attacked him, and with Clay's help, knocked him unconscious. The dragonets then brought him to the shore and tied him to a tree.

Scarlet's Sisters
Scarlet's sisters are three female SkyWings mentioned by Ruby in Escaping Peril. Biography The Jade Mountain Prophecy Escaping Peril In the prologue, Ruby mentioned that Scarlet had killed all three of her sisters during a talk with Tourmaline.

Skywing guard
the Skywing guard is a female guard that appeared in the end of The Dragonet prophecy Biography The Dragonet Prophecy The Dragonet Prophecy Near the end of the book, she found the dragonets and was scratched across the throat by Peril, before escaping.
