Terrarium Academy
Terrarium Academy is a school located in the Cicada Hive, attended by HiveWings of status similar to Cricket and Bombardier.
History
In The Lost Continent, Cricket and Blue first met in the Terrarium Academy.
Classes
Botany
The most important subject for the dragons attending Terrarium Academy is botany, as Cricket mentioned that they were raised to become farmers. The students were each given a tank, and they planted one type of plant in neat, orderly rows; examples included white carrots, prickly cactus balls, and dark purple seaweed. Cricket's tank, however, was not neat and orderly, unlike the teacher's expectations -- "Why can't you just grow potatoes like a normal dragon?" Cricket's tank was very diverse, and the plants in it included blue forgot-me-nots, spider plants, flowers with velvety orange petals, and a little tree hidden in the middle of her tank. She was told to remove the tree once it was spotted, and it is unknown what has become of it and her tank since she fled the Hive.
There was also a cabinet with lots of chemicals, some to kill weeds, speed plant growth, or heal plants from poison.
Art
The dragons also took art classes, mostly painting plants. There were easels in a row, and drawings of an orange on a table. There were also lots of colorful paints, which Cricket used to paint Blue so he would be camouflaged. Cricket was banned from the art room, because Principal Lubber thought her art was too messy.

Trivia
- This is the fourth school to appear in the series, the other three being Jade Mountain Academy, Silkworm Hall, and The NightWing School. The NightWing Island may have also had a school, as Mightyclaws mentions lessons for pretending to read minds and making up prophecies. Riptide also mentions assigned reading.
- This is the third tribe-exclusive school to explicitly appear in the series, the others being The NightWing School and Silkworm Hall.
