Taupe was an adult female MudWing who was featured in A Guide to the Dragon World. She was the bigwings of Moccasin, Warthog, and four other unnamed MudWings. She resided in the Mud Kingdom with her siblings.
Personality
Taupe was considerate,[1] observant, and not easily fooled.[2] She described herself as a dragon who followed orders, but was respectful of others who were not.[1]
Biography
Pre-Series
Taupe lived in the Mud Kingdom with her siblings where she had multiple egg clutches, one of which had a red egg. When she sent a letter to the queen about the red egg, the queen told her to destroy it which Taupe did.
When Moccasin began to sneak out to see her eggs, Taupe noticed and waited for Moccasin to leave one day so she could get her sister to tell her what she was doing. After hearing about Moccasin's red egg, she told her sister about her own egg. When Moccasin said that she wanted to let her egg hatch, Taupe told her that they would keep an eye on it. During the eggs' hatching, Taupe, Moccasin, and their siblings all spied on the eggs from behind a boulder to make sure that everything was alright. When they saw that the blood-red egg dragonet was no different than the others, Taupe explained that they should let other MudWings know so that they do not destroy their eggs.
