Book 9 is the ninth book in the Wings of Fire series. Tui T. Sutherland has confirmed that the main character is a SeaWing. At The Brightest Night's launch party, she mentioned a possible return of a SeaWing royal daughter, or perhaps Turtle, one of Tsunami's brothers. It has been confirmed that the protagonist is related to Tsunami and didn't appear in the the first 5 books, so it could be a male prince. No official title or release date has been confirmed.
Tui T. Sutherland said on her blog that the ninth book might be the one to "rip out your heart and stomp on it".
In winter turning Deathstalker mentioned Anenome so that might have something to do with this book.
