Template:Charbox Silverspot is a SilkWing who appeared in The Lost Continent. She is Luna's biological mother,[1] Blue's stepmother,[1] and Burnet's partner. [2] She laid and mothered Luna after her father Admiral[2] returned to his "containment"[2] by order of the queen.
Biography
It was mentioned that she and Burnet were both former assigned partners of Admiral (not at the same time). However, he was moved to another Hive when Blue and Luna were still inside their eggs. She ended up being given the partner of her choice, Burnet, which was unheard of. But, they loved each other more than they ever loved Admiral.
When Blue and Luna are leaving to get honey drops, Silverspot tells her daughter to have a wonderful day. She says that she might not make it to the Cocoon for Luna's Metamorphosis but she will try. Luna wants them to go flying together when she has wings, but Silverspot seems a little anxious or fearful.
At the Metamorphosis, Silverspot ends up not making it. Burnet mentions that she and Silverspot suspected that Luna had flamesilk.
