Obsidian Mirror
The Obsidian Mirror is an animus-touched, oval-shaped piece of glittering black glass. It was saved from the NightWing's treasury when the volcano erupted, when everyone fled through the portal to the Rainforest Kingdom. Greatness was supposed to use it to spy on the RainWings, but did not, as she didn't trust items made by animus dragons. In the preview of The Brightest Night, Strongwings has it with him while Sunny is being kidnapped. During her capturing, Preyhunter pulls it out and Sunny noticed that the raindrops avoided falling on it. He states that it has not worked well lately, and that Stonemover may have done something to it before he disappeared. The Obsidian Mirror is later used by Sunny to check on her friends, but she buries it in a sand dune before entering the Scorpion Den because she fears it might fall into the wrong hands. It is later lost because she and other dragons where unable to find it.
