Template:SpoilerDragonslayer Template:Charbox Leaf is a male scavenger, and one of the three protagonists of Dragonslayer, the other two being Ivy and Wren. He despises dragons due to his sister's supposed death and wants to become a Dragonslayer to avenge Wren.

Appearance

On the cover, Leaf appears to have black hair and tan skin. He also appears to own a sword, but this may be loaned or stolen. He wears a white shirt with a button at the top, green pants, light brown sandals, and a brown satchel slung over his right shoulder. He also appears to be taller than Wren and Ivy.

Trivia

• A leaf is a part of certain trees that provides food to it from the sun via photosynthesis. In the fall, leaves tend to change color and fall off the tree, leaving trees bare in the winter, before the trees regrow new leaves in the spring.
  • This name may foreshadow a significant change in Leaf.
• It's unlikely that Leaf knows that his people were indirectly responsible for his sister's "death" since he only hates the dragons for this.
  • The synopsis for Dragonslayer states that Wren is Leaf’s "favorite sister," which implies that he may have at least one other sister besides her.
• Leaf could possibly be Fluffy from The Brightest Night, but this has not been confirmed.
• Leaf could also possibly be the scavenger that Clay rescued in The Dragonet Prophecy, as it was described to be smaller than the others Clay had seen (therefore not fully-grown), with black hair and brown skin. Leaf seems to fit this description, as seen on the cover of Dragonslayer.
