Garnet

Template:CharboxGarnet is a SkyWing dragonet of unknown gender attending the Quartz Winglet at Jade Mountain Academy. They appeared in Moon Rising soaring through the sky alongside Thrush and Peregrine, two other SkyWing dragonets attending Jade Mountain.

Trivia

• A garnet is a type of red gemstone, and is January's birthstone.
• Garnet is the fourth SkyWing to appear who is named after a type of gem, the others being Carnelian and Queen Ruby/Tourmaline.
• Most SkyWings named after red gems appear to be royal, with lower-ranking dragons taking the names of mountian-related things, such as Avalanche, Osprey, and Eagle, but Garnet and Carnelian seem to be exceotions to this tradition, with gem-related named despite being just soldiers.
