Boto is a male RainWing dragonet who was introduced in Moon Rising. He is currently attending Jade Mountain Academy as part of the Silver Winglet.
Appearance
Boto is placid-looking.[1] Judging by Peril noticing he turned an 'even paler shade of green', we can guess that he is mainly colored pale green.
Biography
The Jade Mountain Prophecy
He was described to be dancing with both Sepia and Kinkajou when the Jade and Silver Winglets used instruments together in the music room at Jade Mountain Academy. Later in the book, he was shown resting in a patch of sunlight along with two other RainWing students, Coconut and Siamang.
Boto appeared when Peril had accidentally set a scroll on fire, which was his homework. He stammers an apology to her after Peril says to keep his mess in his own cave. Boto turned an "even paler shade of green" and vanished into his cave after Peril apologized, saying he should be thankful it was not his tail.
Boto was seen attending a history class along with the Jade and Silver Winglets. Darkstalker's murderous past was brought up, Boto's talons turned lime green and he began anxiously asking whether it was likely that they would be murdered.
