Wings of Fire: Winglets

(Not to be confused with the Winglets of Jade Mountain Academy, which are groups of different dragonets.)

Wings of Fire: Winglets is a series of books written by Tui T. Sutherland as a companion to the Wings of Fire series.

The first Winglets book is titled Prisoners, which is told from Fierceteeth's perspective. It was released on March 31, 2015. For plot details, see its page.

The second Winglets book is titled Assassin, which is told from Deathbringer's perspective. It was released on September 29, 2015. For plot details, see its page.

The third Winglets book is titled Deserter, which is told from Six-Claws' perspective. It was released on March 29, 2016. For plot details, see its page.

The fourth Winglets book is titled Runaway, which is told from Foeslayer's, Snowflake's and Arctic's perspectives. It was released on September 27, 2016. For plot details, see its page.

The fifth Winglets book is titled Hero, which is told from Cliff's perspective. It is set to release February 3rd, 2026.^[1]

The first three Winglets (Prisoners, Assassin, and Deserter) have been released as a paperback collection called A Winglets Collection: The First Three Stories. The book was first available to be ordered and arrived by late September or early October of 2016.

A Winglets Flip Book was released exclusively on Independent Bookstore Day, April 27, 2019. It contains Assassin and Deserter, along with a letter from Tui.

The Winglets Quartet is a collection of the first four winglets e-books: Prisoners, Assassin, Deserter, and Runaway. It was released on October 6, 2020.

A graphic novel featuring all four of the released Winglets and the upcoming fifth Winglets is planned.^{[event 1]}
