The Sugar Dream

The Sugar Dream is a candy store that Luna and Blue visited in The Lost Continent. It is located in Cicada Hive. The salesdragon is a male HiveWing named Chafer. It is one of the better stores in the marketplace, getting a honeycomb-shaped cell to set up shop in, where most smaller businesses have to set up temporary stands. It sells a variety of sweets, including sugar cubes, honey drops, sugar spun to look like wasps, and apricot taffy. It is among the more expensive of sweet shops, with mainly HiveWing customers, like Lady Scarab. It is said to be the best sweet store in Cicada Hive.

SilkWings typically don’t visit the shop, going to Droplets instead, and are treated rudely when they do, seen when Blue and Luna were ignored by Chafer to help other HiveWing customers. After selling a HiveWing named Weevil and his friend a box of candy, he continued to refuse service to Blue and Luna until Lady Scarab began to release a foul odor, and threatened to continue and make him close his shop for the rest of the day unless he served them first. He quickly gives them the honey drops they came for, and when Luna asks how much they cost, he tells them to just 'get out of here', though Luna gives him a few scales anyway.
