Sutherland has confirmed that the main character is either a SeaWing or a SandWing from her book talk, with the possibility of Qibli, Ostrich, or a new character. At The Brightest Night launch party, she mentioned a possible return of a SeaWing royal daughter, likely Auklet. No official title or release date has been confirmed.
