Pineapple

Pineapple is a male RainWing who was introduced in The Dangerous Gift. He was part of the stealth team to Pantala and was briefly under the control of the othermind. He currently resides in the RainWing village. He is in a relationship with Jambu.

Appearance

Pineapple is a serious-looking RainWing. He changes colors often. While he was flying to Pantala he had iridescent gold and rose scales with cyan all over. He is bigger and heavier than Luna.

Personality

Pineapple acts cheerful and even-keeled.

Pineapple was chosen by Glory to represent the RainWings on the journey to Pantala.

The Flames of Hope

Pineapple is first seen searching for marine life underwater with Sky and Wren on the beach near Jerboa III's hut. He was close to falling asleep several times during the flight to Pantala. When the stealth team was attacked by a group of mind-controlled HiveWings, Pineapple, along with Tsunami and Qibli fought against the HiveWings. Pineapple was knocked out by the HiveWings during the fight and was brought back to the Hives, unconscious. While escaping the Hives, he uses his venom on Queen Wasp. However, when he was imprisoned in Wasp Hive, he accepted a drink containing the Breath of Evil.

He later appeared in the mindspace after Cottonmouth possessed his real world body. Pineapple allowed Lizard to see his memories. In his vision, Pineapple was shown sleeping with his partner, Jambu. Glory suddenly appeared to wake Jambu up as suntime has ended already. Glory came to ask whether or not Jambu would come with her to Sanctuary as dragons from Pantala have arrived there, but he refused. Pineapple offered to go in his place, which Jambu happily agreed to as he went back to sleep in his hammock. The vision ended here.

Lizard got angry about the lack of violence in Pineapple's memory, and Pineapple was noted to have a "faraway, undoing-knots-in-his-brain," expression. Luna comforted him. Lizard started to argue with Pineapple but then stormed off. Moon then read Pineapple's mind and found her way into the mindspace. Cottonmouth/Pineapple then started attacking the group after Qibli warned them that Pineapple was taken over. Real Pineapple said to free Luna.

After Luna cut the breath of evil vine, Pineapple was freed, and went back to Pyrrhia.

Relationships

Jambu

Jambu is Pineapple's boyfriend, they are shown to love each other very much. It is also mentioned that they cuddle, eat chocolate and make songs about pandas together.

Luna

Luna describes Pineapple as her new favorite friend, and he is physically affectionate towards her. She comforts him after he watched a memory of Jambu, who he misses.

Sad about the bananas, though. Hmmm. Maybe that wasn't the best analogy.
