It was mentioned in Darkness of Dragons that he is deaf in one ear because of an explosion near his home during theWar of SandWing Succession. Since that event, he has wanted to become a doctor. He was noted to have a very "positive and helpful" energy.
Personality
Peregrine is described as having positive and helpful energy. He seems to be determined to be a healer, sweet, and cheerful. He is clawmates with Pronghorn, who was described as enthusiastic to learn, so it is possible Peregrine is similarly eager.
Biography
Peregrine was briefly shown soaring through the sky along with two other SkyWing students at Jade Mountain, Thrush and Garnet.
Peregrine was one of the known dragonets, along with Tamarin, who asked for a Herbs and Healing class. Qibli speculated that Peregrine would like to learn about healing so that he could help Queen Ruby with her hospital.

- The peregrine falcon is the fastest animal in the world. It can reach speeds of up to 389 kilometers per hour (242 miles per hour) while diving.
- The name itself also summarizes the speed of a SkyWing compared to all the other currently known tribes.
- Peregrine is the first known deaf (or partially deaf) dragon.
