Orchid
Template:Infobox Orchid was one of the seventeen missing RainWings featured in The Hidden Kingdom. Mangrove thought of her as his perfect partner.
Biography
Orchid was lost fruit-gathering with Mangrove, when she was kidnapped by NightWings. He tried to get Queen Magnificent to send out a search party, but she refused and did nothing, even when more RainWings went missing. Mangrove later told Glory, who volunteered to look for the missing RainWings. When she too was abducted, she found the other RainWings, including Orchid, being experimented on in the Night Kingdom. Because of Mangrove, Orchid could be saved.
When Mastermind is showing Starflight and Fatespeaker his laboratory, Orchid is being tested. When Starflight first sees her, she is chained to the wall and unconscious from thirst. Mastermind explains that he was trying to see how long the average RainWing could use their venom before running out, but she had fainted before he could even begin the test. The dragonets got her some water, and Starflight tells her that Mangrove is looking for her, causing her scales to turn pink. Later, during the attack on the Night Kingdom, Orchid is freed along with the rest of the surviving RainWings. She is reunited with Mangrove and says that she thought he would forget about her. They both return to the Rainforest Kingdom unharmed. In the volcano Mangrove tries to ignore the rumbling of the volcano to be with Orchid.
