Fritillary is an adult male SilkWing who was introduced in The Lost Continent. He is one of the ten flamesilk dragons and was last seen enslaved in the flamesilk factory.

Description

Fritillary has lime-green stripes across his scales.

Personality

Fritillary is shown to be very mean and irritable, wishing that everyone hated the world as much as he did. He is also described as never missing the chance to join in a fight and strongly disliking everyone else, a feeling described as mutual. He often started arguments with other flamesilks, and most of them hate him. Blue describes Fritillary as having an everlasting bad temper.

The Lost Continent

Fritillary argued with Admiral and the other flamesilks often. When Blue first arrived at the flamesilk factory and met his father, Admiral, Fritillary shouted rude things about Blue to Admiral, starting a fight between them.

Fritillary joined in another shouting fight between Danaid and Pierid a while later. When Danaid listed all the flamesilks to Blue, she described Fritillary as "the worst."

Later, when Blue visited all of the flamesilks, everybody was said to warn him away from Fritillary. Blue suspected that Fritillary must dislike living in the flamesilk factory due to his bad temper.

Blue saw Fritillary, along with Danaid and Pierid, in a nightmare, all of them yelling at each other. When he woke up and saw Luna emerge from her cocoon, Fritillary yelled at Admiral that he would give her three days until she found out that Admiral was the most annoying.

Fritillary was also one of the ten screaming flamesilks in the massive shouting commotion Danaid caused in order to help Blue escape. Fritillary was seen yelling at Admiral that his dragonets were boring, which made both Admiral and Danaid shout back at him that they were not.
