Dusky

Dusky is a male SilkWing dragonet introduced in The Flames of Hope. He was formerly under the control of the Othermind.

Appearance

Dusky has lavender scales with speckles of dark blue and turquoise. He has two star-shaped white scars, one on his forehead over his left eye and another near his wingbud on his right shoulder. He is tiny, but still was larger than Freedom.^{[page # needed]}

Personality

Dusky is extremely clingy to Luna, and is often nervous and sad. He loves Luna's flamesilk. He is afraid of humans. More flying in soon...

The Flames of Hope

Dusky was one of the many SilkWings hiding in the underground caverns. He stayed close to Luna when she arrived and told her that there were whispers in the dark saying, "You're mine now, little dragon." Later, Dusky is seen with Luna trying to sleep, though he startles awake several times. A dragon named Whitespeck comes to check on Dusky and reveals to Luna that Dusky’s mother was missing and his father was killed in a construction accident when he was only one. Luna is shocked that Dusky is alone, but Whitespeck informs her that since Dusky was the only one in his household, he had to work, which is why he was assigned to a construction team at a young age.
