Addax first appears in front of, Six-Claws when he was escorting Sunny to Thorn and he questioned who she was. He later used Ostrich and a ransom for Sunny in return to get himself back to his family. After he arrives at Burn's Stronghold, Burn appears to not be there but Smolder was and Addax told him that he wanted his reward but Smolder had told him to wait in the barracks until she returned. When Sunny's mother Thorn comes to rescue her, she desired to get revenge on Addax but Sunny defended him and said he had his reasons and that it wasn't worth it. Addax is a SandWing formerly of the Outclaws. He always reported himself and called his commanders by sir. He has, as the book describes, "a long scratch across one of his eyes that had torn up part of his nose."
