The dreamvisitors are three animus-touched sapphires enchanted by Darkstalker, originally created to connect him, Fathom, and Clearsight.

Description

The dreamvisitors are three star-shaped sapphires[1] that glow with an eerie blue light, enchanted to grant the user the ability to enter the dreams of another dragon. When the user holds the dreamvisitor to their forehead, they must concentrate on their target. If the target is in shallow sleep, or is experiencing a nightmare, the user can see the target and the target's dream, but the target will not be able to hear or see the user. If the dragon is in a deep, calm sleep, the user can talk to the dreamer.[2] The user can only dreamvisit someone they have seen before.[event 1]

History

The Dragonet Prophecy

While sleeping after training, Glory was dreamvisited by Scarlet. Scarlet showed the dreamvisitor to Glory who recognized it from scrolls she had read.

Starflight found a dreamvisitor in the claws of a skeleton of a NightWing in the NightWing fortress treasury when he and Fatespeaker were exploring. He took the dreamvisitor from the skeleton of the NightWings and used it to communicate with Glory in the rainforest during her suntime. When he was brought out of the dormitory by Morrowseer, Starflight hid the dreamvisitor under his pillow. After returning from training, Starflight discovered that the dreamvisitor was gone.

Sunny found two scavengers in a ruined scavenger den (Valor), which she named Fluffy (Leaf) and Holler (Ivy), who were carrying a bag of SandWing treasure. Sunny took Holler for a ride and emptied the bag, finding the dreamvisitor. She used the dreamvisitor to dreamvisit Blaze and Queen Moorhen to convince them to meet at the SandWing stronghold on the false brightest night and decide a queen for the SandWings.
