Objects articles are about objects and treasures that appear in the series. (Example: Skyfire.)

Article Structure

A tribe article should be structured as follows:

• Introduction
• Description
• History
• Trivia
• Gallery
• References
• Navboxes
• Categories

Introduction

• A brief summary of the object's name, creator, and purpose.

Description

• A physical description of the object, including the material it's made of, color, and any features noted about it by characters.
  • Any changes to the object's appearance throughout the series should also be noted here.
• If the article is about a general category of object (such as scrolls), generally describing the usual appearance is sufficient.
  • For an object like scrolls, noting new developments to the physical appearance/function (such as Starflight's navigation system in the scrolls at JMA) is worthwhile.

History

• Summarized history of the object, including all appearances or mentions in the series.
  • If known, include the creator, approximate time of creation, intended purpose, function/s, and unintended uses.

Trivia

• This section is used for information that does not fit elsewhere on the page.
  • In particular, this section should be used for statements made by Tui at online or in-person events.
  • Information from events Tui hosts should be accompanied with a citation linking a post made about the event, or a screenshot from a digital event if possible.
  • Statements made on an official Scholastic media (websites, social media, etc.) are also acceptable.

Gallery

• The Gallery section should contain the <gallery> </gallery> syntax around all image files.
• The Gallery section should only contain canonical imagery. This may include cover illustrations, graphic novel art, Home Base assets, and any promotion-specific material released by Scholastic.
• Fanart is not allowed in the Gallery section.

References

• You can add a citation of a book page (in source mode) by using the Ref template (click the link for an explanation on how to use it). Citations of sources outside the books can be done using the <ref></ref> syntax (in source mode) or by selecting the Insert tab and clicking Reference in the drop box (in Visual Editor mode).
  • Please do not use <ref></ref> for book citations, and replace them with the proper format when necessary.
• If a citation is used anywhere on the article (via the Ref template or the <ref></ref> syntax), this section needs to be added to the page so the citation displays properly. In most cases, this is done by adding {{References}} to the section. Citations from external sources such as events belong in {{EventReferences}}.
• If there are no citations on an article, this section can be omitted.

Navboxes

• Navboxes are a quick way to navigate around information about a specific tribe. They include article links for known dragons, locations, and societal information. Navboxes should only be added to pages they link to, including the tribe’s members, events, and relevant locations.
• You can add a navbox by using {{Tribe Navbox}} (Example: {{HiveWing Navbox}}).

Categories

Categories are an easy way to find things on our wiki. You can find all the existing categories at the Category Guide or the Category Tree.
All tribes should be placed into the following categories:

• Objects.

Categories with specific conditions:

• Enchanted objects belong in Animus touched.
• Treasures and stones belong in Stones/Treasures.
• Scrolls belong in Scrolls.
• An object associated with a specific tribe or tribes belongs in the respective tribe history categories (eg. MudWing history, HiveWing history, etc.).
  • An object associated with all of the Pyrrhian tribes can be added to Pyrrhian history.
  • An object associated with all of the Pantalan tribes can be added to Pantalan history.
  • Objects associated with humans belong in Human history.
