Wings of Fire: Legends

Wings of Fire: Legends is a series of books written by Tui T. Sutherland as a companion to the Wings of Fire series. These books tend to be larger than the main series Wings of Fire books, and seem to focus on the past and the history that is not covered by the main books.

Tui originally planned to call these books Super Editions, not Legends.

The first Legends book, and the only one currently released, is titled Darkstalker. The perspective rotates between three dragons- Darkstalker the NightWing/IceWing hybrid, the NightWing Clearsight, who he loves, and Fathom of the SeaWings, their best friend. The prologue is from the point of view of Arctic the IceWing, Darkstalker's father, and the epilogue is done by Indigo the SeaWing, Fathom's true love. The story takes place in around 3008 A.S. Tui T. Sutherland has confirmed that the next (second) Legends may be called Dragonslayer, about Flower (Rose) and the other two Scavengers, Holler and Fluffy. This may instead be the plot for the fifth Winglets book.
