Description
The Winding Tail River begins high in the Claws of the Clouds Mountains and runs past Jade Mountain into the sea. Near a bend in the river and west of Queen Moorhen's Lake, there is a scavenger den that is believed to be the largest in Pyrrhia.[1] The river is surrounded by mountains and forests.[1] There are tiny, golden, silver fish in the river,[2] as well as prey that is rumored as much easier to catch than the scavengers.[1]
History
Kinkajou, Moonwatcher, Qibli, and Winter passed through the Winding Tail River on their way to search for Scarlet. They stopped to catch wild rabbits and collect peaches, and while resting on a cliff face, the group was shot at by a flaming projectile weapon from the scavenger den. Winter saved their lives by breathing frostbreath on the spear in midair.
Peril and Turtle follow the river on their way to Possibility to track down Scarlet.
Turtle passed through the Winding Tail River on his way to the Kingdom of the Sea to prevent Anemone from murdering her tribe.
