Viper

Template:Infobox Viper was the false SandWing dragonet of the prophecy who was intended to replace Sunny. Viper's unnamed parents are members of the Talons of Peace; she considered the NightWing Morrowseer awful, and was very hostile towards the other false dragonets. Viper's scales are the proper SandWing color (unlike Sunny's), and she also has a barbed, venomous tail. Similar to all the false dragonets, she is annoyed by Fatespeaker's imprecise predictions, and  finds amusement in bullying Squid, as well as Flame and Ochre. She is usally in a sour mood and seems to hate the other false dragonets.

Biography

In the prologue toThe Hidden Kingdom, she has a pretend fight with the other dragonets. Ochre trips over her, and she bites him. Squid considers her, Ochre and Flame to be bullies. In the epilogue, they were taken to the NightWing kingdom, and she notes that Ochre smells bad, and gets mad at Fatespeaker when she claims to have a vision.

In The Dark Secret, she first appears when Starflight introduced to the False Dragonets. She seems to like the idea of replacing Fatespeaker. When Morrowseer orders her to kill Starflight, she asks if they can kill Fatespeaker instead. She sticks with Squid during the chase, and is chased back to their den by four NightWing Guards. As Flame and Ochre are in the dungeon, she and Squid have to spend the night in the NightWing Dormitory. The NightWing dragonets annoy her, and she threatens them with her tail before sulking in a corner. The next day, Morrowseer takes them to a remote SkyWing outpost and orders them to convince the dragons inside to switch their allegiance from Burn toBlister. Viper doesn't seem to like the name "Dragonets of Destiny". After the fight is over, the next day she tells Morrowseer that she never wants to do that again. She is eager to jump into the later pretend fight with Fatespeaker, prompting Starflight to join in as well to save her. Viper blames Fatespeaker for her being taken to the NightWing island and nearly kills her before Starflight runs into her. Her tail slices Flame's face as she accidently gets shoved into lava. When she didn't reappear above the surface, Fatespeaker weeps by the river for her lost "friend." Viper is most likely deceased, though that has not yet been confirmed.
