Tree Wars

The Tree Wars were a series of battles between LeafWings and HiveWings that ultimately resulted in the near-extinction of LeafWings. The event took place fifty years before The Lost Continent Prophecy, and deforested most of Pantala.

Description

Fifty years ago, Queen Wasp claimed that Clearsight wanted her to rule all the tribes. Queen Monarch stepped down and submitted the SilkWings under Wasp's rule, believing that the Book of Clearsight must be true. Queen Sequoia asked for evidence, to which Wasp denied to show, resulting in the start of the Tree Wars. Wasp eventually ordered the trees to be burnt and cut down, as she believed that LeafWings gained their power from them. LeafWings were almost brought to extinction and any references to trees were banned in HiveWing society, supposedly out of Wasp's spite.

Timeline

• Wasp initially deforested Pantala in small ways, believing that LeafWings gained their power from trees.
• Wasp proposes Sequoia and Monarch to step down, as the Book of Clearsight supposedly wanted Wasp to rule all tribes.
• A peace summit was held with the intention to infect Wasp with the breath of evil. The plan backfired, giving Wasp the ability to mind-control her subjects.
• After many more summits and negotiations, the war began.

Trivia

• Present-day SilkWings are taught and believe that the LeafWings were threatening and attacking the rest of the tribes.
