History
While she was guarding the Royal Hatchery, Shark offered Tortoise an octopus to eat. She couldn't eat in the hatchery because the blood would attract sharks. Following the rules, she left the room unguarded. Orca's enchanted sculpture destroyed one of the incubating eggs shortly afterward, enraging the Queen.
Queen Coral killed Tortoise with extreme violence as punishment for failing her by letting her unhatched daughter die. She ripped out the SeaWing's teeth one by one and then attacked her underbelly. Before her death, Tortoise indicated to Shark, explaining in Aquatic that he had offered her an octopus. Coral smashed the life out of Tortoise with her tail on the floor outside of the hatchery.
