Template:Infobox CharacterTapir was a RainWing briefly mentioned in The Hidden Kingdom. He died of starvation in NightWing captivity since they were trying to feed him rotten animals, and treating him horribly, which he thoroughly disliked since he was a RainWing, so he eventually let himself starve to death.

Biography

Tapir was quickly mentioned when Glory asked Mangrove about the missing RainWings. He claimed that Tapir was the oldest of the missing dragons, roughly a hundred and ten years of age. While imprisoned by the NightWings, Glory was told by Kinkajou that the food the RainWings were brought was disgusting and rotten, and that Tapir eventually let himself starve to avoid having to eat the carrion. Later, when defending Glory's decision to challenge Queen Magnificent, Kinkajou mentioned that Tapir, Bright, and Orangutan had already died, most of the tribe still didn't believe her. But some, such as Tamarin did.

Trivia

  • A Tapir is a pig-like mammal that looks somewhat similar to an anteater.
  • Tapir was the oldest known dragon in the series (besides Darkstalker and Foeslayer, depending on how you determine age).
