Trivia

  • The only other book with an animus's perspective is the Legends book Darkstalker (Legends), with Darkstalker and Prince Fathom.
  • On the cover, Turtle is missing his bracelet, containing the sky-fire rocks that prevent Moon from reading his mind. He will probably lose it in this book.
  • On the cover, Turtle's phosphoric lights are blue, but in the book they are described to give off a greenish light.
  • On the cover, Turtle's royal wing patterns, as well as Tsunami's on the cover of The Lost Heir, are not visible, perhaps because of the sunlight being brighter than the glow stripes.
  • Talons of Power is the longest mainseries book with 336 pages (24 more pages than The Brightest Night , and 48 more pages than Escaping Peril).
