Strongwings is a NightWing featured in both The Dark Secret and The Brightest Night. He is described as strong and burly, hence his name. Not much is known about him, but the preview to The Brightest Night shows that he may be a major character in the final book.
The Dark Secret
In The Dark Secret, he is the lab assistant of Mastermind and was shown wanting to wear Mastermind's helmet when they were testing to see if RainWing venom could penatrate a special mask. Tsunami forced Strongwings to swear allegiance to Queen Glory when the NightWings evacuated their island.
The Brightest Night
Strongwings was one of the dragons aiding in the capture of Sunny in the preview of The Brightest Night. He seemed to have a liking to Fierceteeth, the dragon behind the plot to capture Sunny. Their hope was to hold Sunny hostage, so Fierceteeth could overthrow Queen Glory. Strongwings hopes to be the king, which explains why he is helping Fierceteeth.
