The dragons and humans have developed different songs over time, and this is a list of all the known ones.
K-I-S-S-Y
K-I-S-S-Y was a song sung by Anemone to Turtle about him and Kinkajou. It is similar to the real-life song K-I-S-S-I-N-G.
Lyrics
"[name] and [name]
Flying in the sky,
Getting all K-I-S-S-Y!"
Strawberries as Big as a Scavenger's Head
Strawberries as Big as a Scavenger's Head was mentioned in Darkness of Dragons as a song Peacemaker will write in the future, according to Moonwatcher's vision. It will become the anthem for an annual strawberry festival. The song's lyrics are currently unknown.
The Dragonets Are Coming
The Dragonets Are Coming is a bar song that is widely known among the dragons of Pyrrhia. The lyrics retell the prophecy, explaining that five dragonets will come and end the war.
History
Webs taught the song to the dragonets, which was a mistake in the eyes of Dune and Kestrel, as Tsunami sang it to get on their nerves. After Morrowseer visits the dragonets Tsunami sings the song to try to get their guardians to release her, only stopping after Kestrel threatens to tie Clay to a stalactite. Later, Clay played this song on the metal wires used in the SkyWing prison to communicate with Peril when he hadn't seen her for a while and needed her to inform him on Sunny's current location. He noted that the wires' noises sounded too eerie, unlike the song's joyful tune. The other prisoners joined in, revealing the song's popularity among the tribes and hope in the dragonets, but they were interrupted by Princess Burn and Queen Scarlet. As they were singing, they left out the "hooray" at the end, as Clay did when he played the wires.
Glory recognizes Deathbringer whistling it as a warning to the other NightWings on their mission in the rainforest.
The MudWing soldiers in the camp sing the "eerie" version of the song, the one sang by the prisoners, after Sunny visited Queen Moorhen's dream, telling her to cancel the IceWing attack as well as to tell Princess Burn to meet in the courtyard of her stronghold to decide the SandWing queen.
Lyrics
"Oh, The dragonets are coming,
They're coming to save the day.
They're coming to fight,
For they know what's right,
The dragonets, hooray!"
We The Dragons of the Sky
We The Dragons of the Sky was a song made up by Cliff in Escaping Peril. It was created after ex-Queen Scarlet reclaimed her throne in the Sky Kingdom, and took Cliff hostage to get Ruby to cooperate with her. Scarlet was asleep on her throne, while Peril, who was under Chameleon's enchantment and therefore working for ex-Queen Scarlet, was watching Cliff to prevent him from trying to escape. Cliff asked if she wanted to hear a song he'd just made up, and after he sang it to her, Peril wisely advised Cliff not to sing the song to his grandmother, seeing as how it implied that Ruby was a much more successful leader than Scarlet.
Lyrics
"We the dragons of the sky
We can fly and fly and fly
We go up so super high
We the dragons of the sky
And we know my mom is best
Better queen than all the rest
She come save us from this mess
We the dragons dragons dragons of the sky!"
Leaf's Dragon Song
Leaf's Dragon Song is a song he came up with to entertain Butterfly. He sings about how he hates how dragons always ruin everything. Butterfly describes his voice as "very bad."
Lyrics
Oh, dragons are totally stupid
And dragons are totally bad
The way they keep eating our … goats …
It makes me so terribly mad
Whenever I see a dragon,
I want to shout, "Go away!"
But since I'm polite, and never start fights,
I just hide for the rest of the day
