Slaughter was an adult male NightWing guard and cousin to Vengeance. He was killed by Deathbringer in a deal to allow Deathbringer to leave the NightWing island with Quickstrike.
Appearance
Slaughter was too thin, like most NightWings, and had a twitchy, furious look, even in his sleep. He had black wings.[1]

While Slaughter was sleeping, Deathbringer crept up on him and prepared to kill him. However, Morrowseer woke him up (without seeing Deathbringer) and immediately warned Slaughter of the incoming assassination attempt. Deathbringer still managed to sneak up and kill Slaughter by sliting his throat while Morrowseer was leading him out of the room.
Morrowseer once suggested Quickstrike train Slaughter or Vengeance instead of Deathbringer, although she refused the offer.
