Silver is a female sloth that first appeared in The Hidden Kingdom. She was asleep on top of Glory when she woke up after her first-ever suntime in the Rainforest Kingdom. She is currently Glory's pet.
Appearance
Silver has long, silvery-gray fur and enormous dark eyes.[1] She is sleek and beautiful.[2] Snowfall described her being a "floppy yawn-noodle" curled around Glory's neck.[3]
Personality
Silver expresses her feelings for sun-time even though she couldn't speak. She loves Glory and is very attached to her, as shown in multiple scenes of the book. She also seems to enjoy spending time with Sunny, likely because of her warm scales and warm personality. She knows Glory is pretty disagreeable but chose her anyway, showing that she is considering, despite only being a pet sloth.
Biography
The Dragonet Prophecy
Glory found Silver when she woke up from her first sun-time with a sloth on her neck. Glory initially was confused and tried to get the sloth to climb off, but was stopped by Jambu, who explained that the sloths were the pets of quite a few other RainWings. He claimed that Glory had been "chosen" quite fast. Upon visiting the other dragonets, Tsunami expressed interest in eating the sloth (earning some disapproving looks from RainWings nearby). Sunny reacted to seeing Silver by squealing and asking to hold the sloth, showing that she thought it was cute. Silver's presence caused a fight between Glory and Tsunami when Glory got defensive about Tsunami wanting to eat Silver. Starflight was astounded that the sloth wasn't afraid of Glory and was itching to take some notes.
When they found the half-dead, decaying sloth by the tunnel, Glory blocked the gruesome sight from Silver with her wing.
Later, when Glory was exploring the tunnel leading to the Kingdom of Sand, she told the other dragonets that she had named the sloth Silver and gave her to Sunny to keep safe.
At the RainWing Royal Challenge, Magnificent startled Silver by running right at her and making loud noises. Silver, afraid, ran toward Glory and revealed her hiding spot. This caused Glory to lose, which caused some disapproval towards Queen Magnificent.

Sunny thought of Silver when Holler asks for a ride. Later, when the dragonets were talking about Blaze, Silver woke up and then went back to sleep.
The Jade Mountain Prophecy
Silver made a very brief appearance when she was introduced by Queen Glory to Winter, Qibli, and Moonwatcher. Qibli told Winter that Silver was a royal pet, not a royal lunch.
The Lost Continent Prophecy
Silver appeared with Glory when the queens were in Sanctuary.
