Template:Charbox Queen Scorpion was the queen of the SandWings at the time of Darkstalker.
Personality
She may have been cunning and power-hungry because she allowed the IceWings and NightWings to battle over her territory in exchange for piles of gems and metals. It was also said in Darkstalker (Legends) that she was fine with the IceWings and NightWings fighting on her territory as long as they didn’t go near her oasis towns. She may have later raided the abandoned Night Kingdom as well, for the SandWings were suggested to have done so by Darkstalker.
Biography
Legends
She is only mentioned, and does not make a formal appearance in this book. She is mentioned when it was noted that she allowed the NightWings and IceWings fight in the Kingdom of Sand, as long as they stayed away from her towns, and gave her treasure as payment. She was queen alongside Queen Crane, Queen Lagoon (and Queen Pearl when Queen Lagoon was murdered), Queen Carmine, Queen Anaconda, Queen Diamond, and Queen Vigilance.
Trivia
- If Jerboa enchanted the Eye of Onyx before she fled her court, Scorpion could have been one of the first SandWing queens to own it.
- She is not connected to the recent SandWing royals, as they are said to have common lineage.
- She may have looted the The Lost City of Night after the NightWings fled, thus making her tribe rich. If so, some of the SandWing Treasure may have originally belonged to the NightWings, thus explaining how a dreamvisitor was among the treasure stolen by scavengers.
- The Scorpion Den may have been named after her.
- She may have been the last queen in the original royal blood line.
