- "What a day, lizard. You have no idea how important I am to Queen Burn. Wait until I find her treasure in that spiky human city! She'll probably give me a palace of my own. HAHA! I'll burn all those humans to ashes. It'll be GREAT!"
- — Sandstorm to Sky, Dragonslayer
Sandstorm was an adult male SandWing who was introduced in Dragonslayer. He was a general under Burn and resided in the SandWing stronghold until he was poisoned and killed by Wren.
Appearance
Sandstorm was an enormous SandWing.[1] He wore armor[2] and a key around his neck.[3]
Personality
In Dragonslayer, Wren described Sandstorm as obnoxious,[4] annoying, and a total lunatic when he threatened the Indestructible City.[5] He appeared to not be liked by other dragons.[6] He had a loud,[7] annoying,[8] bellowing laugh,[4] and was shown ordering Smolder around, which seemed to make the latter upset.[9] He was loyal to Burn and was willing to capture Sky to give him to her. Sandstorm also seemed to be very full of himself, shown when he was boasting about how important he is and how Burn will promote him when he gives her Sky.[2]

Legends

| General Sandstorm was threatening the Indestructible City, dodging whatever people shot at him and laughing. He had attacked the Indestructible City four times before. Later on, he is shown to have locked Sky into his room with the intention of giving him to Queen Burn as a gift. Wren poisoned Sandstorm's cinnamon milk with rat poison to free Sky, and Sandstorm dies from it while fighting an Outclaw, who swaggers away from Sandstorm's defeat, very pleased with himself. |
