Burn's Stronghold is the current base of Burn's army in the great war. Although it's located in the Kingdom of Sand, few SandWings live in it, as most of the SandWing soldiers are with Blaze in the Ice Kingdom.

History

The stronghold was originally Queen Oasis' palace. When she was murdered by a scavenger, the three SandWing princesses began to argue about who would inherit the throne, Burn either (depending on the source of information) drove out Blister and Blaze and seized it for herself, or the other two sisters fled before she could kill them and take the throne for herself. She has added many things to the palace to scare off intruders, including mounted heads of decapitated dragons and her weirdlings collection.

The stronghold also contains a courtyard and a great hall decorated with statues, once being the glamorous palace of the SandWings.

Appearance

When Burn seized the palace, she added thick walls and turrets to make it more "straightforward" to defend, and soldiers were stationed in and around it. She also mounted the cut-off, dried heads of any of her opponents, (or dragons who disobeyed her) that she managed to capture on its outer walls to scare any incoming enemies. There is a wormhole connecting to the Rainforest Kingdom about a mile away, periodically covered by blowing sand.
