Queen Ruby is the false identity that Ex-Queen Scarlet used to hide her daughter, Queen Tourmaline. Feeling that her throne was being threatened, Scarlet had Chameleon make a spell, using Darkstalker's Talisman, that would change Tourmaline into Ruby, making the ambitious princess shyer and intimidated by her mother. When Ruby was under the first spell, she was given the false memories of Tourmaline.
