Queen Ruby is the false identity Ex-Queen Scarlet used to hide Queen Tourmaline. Feeling that her throne was threatened, Scarlet had Chameleon make a spell, using Darkstalker's Talisman, that would change Tourmaline into Ruby, making the ambitious princess more shy and intimidated by her mother.
Queen Ruby hated Peril. So the first thing Queen Ruby did when she became queen, was to have Peril banished. In the end though, Peril ended up saving Cliff's life. Therefore, Queen Ruby accepted Peril back in the Kingdom of the Sky.
