He is shown to be quite affectionate and curious, even in his one appearance at the end of Darkstalker. He is shown inside a hole he dug with Cowrie and Blob, Indigo's pet. At the end he piles up on top of the other two dragonets, squishing them, saying "I loooooooove youuuuuuu"
