Pyrite is an animus SkyWing under Queen Scarlet, first appearing in Winter Turning. In the prologue, she appears to have hypnotic powers. and is a subject of Queen Scarlet.
It is later discovered that Pyrite cast a spell on Hailstorm, trapping him into Pyrite's mind and body.
