Polar Bear was briefly mentioned while Mink and Snowfall were having a conversation after she returned from the long journey to Sanctuary. Mink mentioned that she was ranked higher than Polar Bear in the Circle rankings and said that this made her better than them, and Snowfall objected, saying that you can't judge a dragon based on their place in the rankings.
