Template:SpoilerDragonslayer Template:Charbox Pine is a male scavenger who appears in Dragonslayer. He was banished from Valor for being at the ruins of the old village.

Appearance

Pine was described to have worn a green Wingwatcher‘s uniform at his banishment. He still wears it, but it is now threadbare. Pine also has a scar on his neck. Daffodil mentioned that "he had nice hair", but this is likely because she has a crush on him.[citation needed] He is also tall.

Personality

Biography

While Ivy is talking to Mrs. Laurel about her father and Pine, Ivy recalls that Pine was one of the nice Wingwatchers who brought peaches to Ivy's school.

Quotes

"At the school, [...] You were always so excited about the peaches."

"Our friends helped keep us alive, [...] Aster went to take her chances in the Indestructible City and hasn't returned. The dragons got Root a couple of years ago."

"We know where most of them are."

"No luck. I don't think the treasure is here after all."

"Maybe I offended him some other way."

Trivia

  • Pine may be Bandit
  • In the same chapter, it is mentioned that Pine is a Wingwatcher. Since a Wingwatcher is someone who is on the lookout for approaching dragons, this job may have made Pine feel as though he was alone enough to be able to slip away to look at the destroyed village without being caught.
  • It is possible that A Wingwatcher's Guide to Dragons was written by or collaborated by Pine.
