Queen Pearl was Fathom 's sister. She was the only queen to rise to the throne peacefully in SeaWing history. After Albatross went insane and she and her brother, Fathom, were among the few survivors. Her first move as Queen then was to ban the use of animus magic in her kingdom. She was mentioned in an Animus book which Moonwatcher read. Fathom swore and oath to her that he would never use his animus powers until he had to use it once onDarkstalker .
