The Outclaws are a group of dragons, led by Thorn, who is also queen of the SandWings. They live in the Scorpion Den in the desert. This group is made up mostly of SandWings, but a few SkyWings and IceWings have been seen in the Scorpion Den, where the Outclaws maintain order and hide from the effects of the war.
The Outclaws try to feed all dragonets in the Scorpion Den to prevent starvation.
Sunny followed Preyhunter, Fierceteeth, and Strongwings, to the Scorpion Den, leading her to the Outclaws. She met up with Six-Claws, who brought her to Thorn,the leader of the Outclaws, and caught a glimpse of what the life in the city was like on the way.
