Orangutan was an adult male RainWing mentioned in The Hidden Kingdom by Kinkajou to have been captured by the NightWings during the events of The Hidden Kingdom. He, Bright, and Tapir died while being held captive by the NightWings.

After Glory challenged Magnificent for the throne of the RainWings, Kinkajou showed her support for Glory's declaration of why she wanted the throne by sarcastically suggesting any skeptical dragons ask Gibbon, Orchid, Splendor, Tualang, or Loris for their opinion on it.
