Orangutan was a RainWing and a minor character featured in The Hidden Kingdom.
History
Kinkajou told Glory about Tapir, Bright, and Orangutan while trapped in The Night Kingdom - about those who have died awful deaths, away from everything a typical RainWing would want.
It is likely that Orangutan died from the torture of Mastermind's experiments involving RainWing venom or from this bad place for nutrients. As the light from the sun gives RainWings half the energy they need to survive, it is also possible that Orangutan died from the lack of sunlight. This is unlikely though, seeing as how Glory survived without it for some part of her life.
